MONEY: American dollars are accepted anywhere in the Bahamas and are the same value as Bahamian dollars. We would appreciate it if you would bring Travelers Checks, which you can sign over to Hermon's Andros Bonefishing, as payment. Bring additional travelers checks, personal checks, or cash for other purchases on the island as credit cards are not usually accepted on the island and when they are, additional fees are charged for using them. Ask Hermon when planning your trip what is the best method of payment at that time due to changes in banking policies from time to time.
